Braintrust facilitates hundreds of talent invoices monthly to ensure talents get paid properly. As Financial Operations Lead, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and play a pivotal role in improving Braintrust’s financial operations to streamline current processes and drive efficiencies to enable business growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end cash flow process, including AP/AR
- Review regular reviews of financial processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in financial operations and overall company financial performance, including use of AI to automate key processes
- Lead accounting functions and develop accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Support revenue, headcount, and expense planning and forecasting
- Ad hoc finance analysis to support company growth and profitability
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field as a lead
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling
- Proven track record managing high-volume transactional accounting (e.g. 100+ clients or invoices/month)
- Experience working across multiple VMS platforms and ERP tools (e.g. QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Experience with ERP software, such as Quickbooks or NetSuite
- CPA certification is a plus
